Vancouver Heritage Foundation: created as a private, charitable organization in 1992 by the Mayor and Council of the City of Vancouver, who remain its honorary patrons until today. Under the direction of a private citizen Board of Directors, the Foundation assists with the conservation of Vancouver's built heritage, in recognition of its public benefit.

There are 3 ways to become a Friend:

1. Become a Friend on-line using our secure on line registration. On-Line donations can be made through Visa and Mastercard.

2. Print and fill out a Friend's slip and then mail or fax it to us.

3. Email or call the Vancouver Heritage Foundation office to make a donation.

Donations from our Friends help the Foundation to provide heritage conservation education, public awareness and granting programs. The generous act of becoming a Friend of the Vancouver Heritage Foundation makes a valuable contribution to preserving heritage buildings in our city.

Funds donated by Friends go towards:

Education and awareness programs such as our homeowner workshops, Open Vancouver Heritage House Tour and Old School: Courses for Heritage Building Conservation

Granting programs like True Colours that encourage economic investment in heritage buildings

Partnerships with related industries

Suggested donations begin at $50 and are tax deductible. An official receipt for tax purposes are issued for all charitable donations received by the Foundation.
